Hi There:
I'm hoping someone can help me with my "new to me" WMS BB2.5 3-reel Willy Wonka slot machine that I have been looking for for over 7 years! It was my mom's favorite and mine as well. I love the transmissive display. Anyway, I bought the unit from a seller in Ohio and when I got it, I discovered that it had been "modified" causing the upper character avatars to NOT light up. If you have ever played this game, you'll know what I'm talking about. But allow me to explain in a bit more detail...
First off, here is the game I'm talking about...

So the issue I'm trying to solve is that these character avatars circled....

are supposed to light up when you get a feature.
Looking further into the disassembled upper avatar (screen) surround above the main display...

You can see it appears to be from a different game (Monopoly perhaps?).
Here is a closer look...

As you can see, someone installed a cheap LED strip to "make up the light" that the blue globes would be providing.
Here is a closeup of the LED globes that are installed to light up the character avatars...

This is the wiring connection from the upper display character avatar surround to the main chassis. (This picture is taken from area above the main 3-reel display)

As you can see, someone grabbed a random harness to fit the existing harness on the surround and only provided power and ground connections to light up ONLY the Willy Wonka avatar at the top.
I'm guessing that the upper character avatar surround (around the larger portrait display) is supposed to connect to this connector on that main board in the lower chassis?

Can someone who has the machine (and is working correctly) please check yours, or if you have any idea, please let me know how I can fix this? If you have a wiring diagram, I'd love that too!
ANY HELP is appreciated!
