BB2 Power Harness Burnt

Just found out why I had to sometimes reseat my BB2 aux power harness for both monitors and it is not pleasant! 

I have a spare power supply so should I just replace the molex connector or the (very hard to find I'm sure) harness itself? Picture attached below

Yikes.  Just dealt with that the other day.  New connector should do it.  I'd check other connections within that harness to.  The one I dealt with took out the CPU and monitor.

Looks like I'll have to get a tool that pushes pins out with ease

I checked my monitor connections and only slight yellowing on the connector for the yellow wire but no severe damage. It could've been way worse (which I've seen before). This whole time I thought I just had a picky backplane.

Those Molex connectors are pretty easy to find still.

I found a spare connector funnily enough, and I’ve got some pin remover tools on the way. Thank you for the info! I’ll do it later tonight and see how it works out.

When you push in the extractor to press against the two pin tangs, help it a bit by pushing the crimped end of the pin from the back of the housing with a small flatheaded screwdriver.
Why? Because pushing in with the extractor, will also push the tangs back against the housing plastic inside of the housing as it's trying to flatten the tangs.
That makes it hard to flatten the tangs against the pin body.
Pushing the screwdriver in from behind kind of lifts the pin tangs away from the plastic - so they flatten easier.
You'll see what I mean when you start trying to extract the pins.
The last thing you want to do is bend, or break the flat legs of the extractor off...those tools are fairly expensive.

Thanks to all! Got the new power supply put in and swapped out the connector, everything works great now
