Yep...it's dying...the fluorescents and ballasts are still good. 
Looks like I'll be needing to change out an inner LCD.

These monitors with the touchscreen are going for as little as $275 and much more out there.
I bought a cheap 23" desktop computer monitor listed on Facebook Marketplace, for $15.
Going pick it up in town right now.

Hmm...a cheap $15 dollar donor LCD coming out of an 22" Dell Desktop PC monitor is 22-5/8"...diagonally measured.
It is extremely close to size as the inner lcd panel, of an IGT G23 AVP MLD monitor.
I'll explain later below.
I just finished getting it back together....I just have to put on the fans, covering and all the extra screws.

My outer LCD panel is worse...somebody before me didn't remove the LCD panel careful enough.
They chipped the corner and it runs lines.
I know who worked on it...they left a repair tag. 
Hardly noticeable but it's not up to par...I don't like it.
I'm going to get another cheap LCD panel from Facebook Marketplace...going shopping! 

Here's a bunch of pics I took as I was working on it.
I cleaned the panels after I snapped the pics.

The replacement donor LCD came from a $15 Dell P2213T Flat Panel Monitor.
It was only 1/16" of an inch smaller than the inner panel I removed, length-wise...basically 22-1/2" diagonally, 12-1/8" in height, and 19-1/8" in length.
It does NOT show that's it's smaller in any way, and after I put the touchscreen panel back on, it worked perfectly.

I have an MLD with a bad inner screen as well.  Haven't tried to fix it by replacing it myself yet with a new screen, I just removed the Y cable, so only the front screen displays and it works perfectly as a std screen machine for now.

But I saved this link from a post on the boards a few months ago where these screens were mentioned as an exact replacement and they replaced their inner screen with one of these.

if I recall a connector wire just had to be moved to be able to connect, something simple.  Apparently it was a match otherwise.  If you have the original LCD out, you could compare it visually.
The specifications of these replacement screens do match the original MLD screens exactly.  $75 for refurb, $100 brand new.

Oh! So glad you saved that!
This cheap Dell monitor I found, actually didn't fit.
I had to do a little tinkering and McGuyver-ing...haha

I noticed some of these LCDs have 8 ribbon cables running to the interface boards, while others only have like six.
I hade to use a Dremel with a sander bit to shave down a few pieces of plastics that kind of line up the holders surrounding the panels.
That way the ribbon cables would come out flat and not get caught up on the plastic guides.
Even the interface circuit boards aren't exacty the same but the connectors were....that's all that counts.
Once you have it all back together inside the monitor housing, everything is perfectly lined up anyways.
Tiny modifications and you save a ton of money and have a great looking monitor on the machine!

If yours is all good with a more common LCD screen, even if it takes some modding for it to fit.  Well worth it!

The enlcd.com site seems legit.  Would be great if anyone can vouch for the site who bought one from them.   No real red flags, trustpilot and others have no complaints for them, but lower their score because the site is hosted where some scam sites are hosted.  But it is located in Shenzen, lots of scam sites there.   And they did increase shipping from tariffs, so it's now $154 shipped.  The slower shipping option that's $4 more claims you won't pay any import tariff, the other via DHL that's the cheapest says you "might".

Their domain registration has a US address, and has been around since 2018.  Scam sites don't remain active for 8 years.  lol   And they do accept the usual credit cards so that would protect from scams. 

But if you have a panel model number, or LCD monitor model where the panel can be modified a bit so it fits, and works.  Much more likely to find those cheap on FB, ebay etc. to strip the LCD screen from.

Interested in how it all works out!  Any pics of mods you had to do to fit and connect it up are a big help!

I was going to buy an LCD panel from that Enlcd website but was turned off from the shipping costs.
So I searched around for that same panel on ebay and amazon.
I was lucky and found one on ebay for like $30 bucks...with about $20 to ship to upstate New York from Indiana.
I jumped on it and when I pulled the lcd out of the frame, it had 8 ribbon cables! Awesome!
The interface circuit board was slightly different as the holes in the cicruit board didn't exactly match up with the screw holes.
So I simply got out a drill with a sharp new bit, drilled a hole and mounted it to the backing plate.

Let me explain a little bit.
The interface board comes over the top edge connect to ribbon cables.
These ribbon cables come thru slots in the surrounding plastic framing that holds the panels.
The boards get screwed to a plate to hold it still.
There's two connectors coming from the back of the monitor that runs up to the lcd interface boards...one for outer and inner.
Those seem to be an industry standard...no problems with that.
But the ribbon cables are the same...some have 8, some have 6, some are just smaller, some are wider.
They go thru the plastics.
That's where you have to shave some of the plastics to make the ribbom come thru flat and not pinched.
I wish I knew what the exact numbers of these panels were.
It seems that there's different panels shoved into the monitors depending on where they were gotten from and assembled.
What I find important is the height and width of the lcd screen mostly...I want them to in the plastic frames.
I bought one 22" PC monitor last spring for about $50...they advertised it as 22".
It was 22" diagonally...but vertically it needs to be 12-1/8" high, 19-1/8" wide and roughly 22-1/2" diagonally.
That one I bought was only about 11 inches high....it was too low.
I mean, I could move it and center it in the plastic framing but in the end, the rop and bottom of the display would have been cut off a little and I didn't want that....it affected my OCD 

So far, the LTM220MT05, and the Dell P2213T Flat Panel monitors, work as excellent replacements for the G23 AVP...if you can find them.
I saw one seller selling the Dell monitors in bulk...I mean like, 50 monitors in boxes.
Each one came up to like $50 apiece...but it's not something that I can afford...lol

I am having a bit of a hard time trying to find specs of the LCD they put into these monitors.
I want to know the exact sizes and ribbon cables but they're really hard to find.
For example, I've seen Dell P2210T monitors for sale dirt cheap...but I don't know if they'll work....can't find exact specs on them.
I'll keep searching.

Below is a photo where I'm trying to show where the 8 ribbon cable slots are and the 7 guide pegs of plastic on the framing.
This is the best way to work on these as most of the screws are on top...so I rotated the monitor around to get at them.
I had to sand down with a Dremel tool, about 4 of those guide pegs so the ribbon cable would come out flat.
That was actually pretty easy to do.

Pretty sure the actual OEM LCD's are the Samsung LTM220MT05 LCD displays.   If there's a different LCD model found in there, I would think it would have identical specs.
