Bally S6000 Monte Carlo

My spin reel icon does not light the spin button.  All else works. I have seen where the Reel Strips don't match the personality chips. Reel Strips are SMI 9367. Anyone have these? The reel driver board runs all the time in the top box. Any help appreciated.

The reel driver board in top box runs all the time? What do you mean it runs all the time? Upper bonus reel spins all the time? I don't think machine would be working at all if it spins continuously?

Need better explanation of what is going on.

 Pictures help a lot, I suggest posting some . picture of payout glass, machine, chips...

what are your current smi chips? 

the numbers written on the reels aren't always the correct smi for the current strips.  they could have been changed. 

If your machine is the MC Wild Times, then you are requesting one of the correct smi for it.

Thanks for the reply. I am sure i have the right reel strips 1-3. However, I would appreciate input. None of the EPROMS have Bally labels. Ill have to zip each picture, I will do so. Gotta Fix a 27" Wells Gardner D9400 today!

You can resize them by emailing them to yourself, then posting up those.
Maximum size is 1000 pixels per one side...either horizontally or vertically.
I actually use Windows Paint program to resize my photos.
I've heard of people using a program called "Tiny Pic" too.

There is a resize tab in left top corner of your pic page on win10.

Would anyone have a schematic to this board. I could troubleshoot it then. I'm pretty sure that's my problem, or with a print I can prove its not.

Unfortunately, that's just the bottom 3-reel driver board. This is a -0535 board with a 80C32 processor and a Bally G2S0100S1RCU-02 EPROM. I saw on a slot part dealer but someone bought it! I might have to leave it as it is. It pays out sorta

As I previously stated, feel free to email me machine pics. paytable glass and the one with progressive.  is the small plug plugged into the front of the mpu?

Do you have the machine set up correctly for a Monte Carlo?  They don't usually play if the options are set correctly and there's a problem. the following error codes would show:
91FF Feature Fault
91nC No Communication
77 Secondary Device Communication Fault

The Monte Carlo requires Main program version
S6M100000007-06 (newer for the themes that give more than one bonus spin) or later with Bally Secondary
Game (BSG) and Peripheral Device (PRD)
protocol enabled by setting switches 4 and 6 of DIP
switch package DS1 to OFF (See Module 2 of the
Operator’s Instruction Manual for more information).
A SafeRAM™ Clear procedure is required for the
settings to take effect.

Monte Carlo Machine Option Settings OPTION SETTING DESCRIPTION 02 0004 Enables S/MPI operation for serial communication 07 0001 Designates one external Jackpot 78L 0001 Specifies unique machine ID for the ChamII+ controller

There was a revision to the upper rcu software, not that the old one was a problem though.

  I forgot to mention,
   Schematics won't be a problem, but I have a feeling that something else is amuck, so I would suggest looking at the other things first.  They can be found in the file MK6-S6MOD-0002_MonteCarlo.pdf
