ok so i got the multi game software off ebay the one with invaders, zuess 2 and reel rich devil, anyway i know some people here have it. i went to load it and before the game starts i get an error saying "mechanical reels not found. these arent mech reel games unless one title is? i dont understand is there a workaround ?

Os 13.37 game 13.31 attached is the game list. I contacted the seller (slot machine parts co) he claimed he has sold dozens with no issues

I have talked to quite a few people who have this version and it works for all of them. I guess the seller either sent me the wrong file or copied the wrong file on it. I guess I’m out 50 bucks and I’ll have to buy a different version from a different seller.

seller claims no chance of the files being wrong and that they are originals but idk. why would it be looking for mechanical reels ?

i tried using a higher os card and same error. seems the game card is at fault.

What if you were to nicely ask the seller, if they would be able to test the software for you - if you would mail it back to them?

I’m stubborn and butthurt. I’d rather pay another seller more to get the correct software. ill just hope karma gets him for saying it was "tested and working"

Does this machine have a reels controller installed and connected?

Does turning the key give any more info?

idesign, no it does not. and turning key only showed mech reels not found. i have two other games that are Not reel games and they load up fine

Illinois class 2 stuff is quirky. I don't know anybody that has been able to play that game. You say others are playing it so maybe someone on here can pipe up about it if they have it.

Also, are you using an IL jur chip? That may be the issue

Well, maybe you need a IL jur chip since it's an IL game.....just a guess. Have you tried any other jur?

No, my mpu came with no chips so I only ordered the unlimited. I have another mpu board with a jurisdiction chip in it but don’t know how to tell what it is. I would not think it would be looking for mechanical reels if it was a jurisdictional issue

You just never know. You have nothing to loose. Makes no difference the diagnostic menu will tell you what it is.

I was referring to that jur chip you have without markings

Also, think about it. A Ilinous Class 2 games with a Columbia jur. Sounds like a mismatch to me
