Newbie Working on Fortune 1 w/White Screen.

Hello, I recently inherited what I believe to be a Fortune 1. The monitor powers on when I flip the switch and so do the door lights. Unfortunately the screen is white and the cabinet will not play blind. None of the board-mounted lights on the upper or lower boards light up when the cabinet is powered on and I press the buttons or trigger the coin switch. I removed the upper board tray and cleaned the contact points and reseated the eprom, making sure the pins were shiny. I think the next step is to replace the capacitors but I am unsure as this is my first time working on something like this. I have done some electrical work on my cars and enjoy it so I would like to take a stab at repairing the machine myself before resorting to having someone repair it for me. Attached are pictures of the cabinet.

those are fun games and once you get them working they live another long life!
Yes, you can test/replace capacitors.
The fact that the candle is on means the board is doing something.
The monitor is an RGB1401, probably model A. May the force be with you, hopefully it works. I see solid white screen, that doesn’t mean it is working correctly.
As for your board, Alan at K-Lar is an expert on those and has a testing station. They commonly have problems with the pots in the video circuit (3 pots at the back of the board). You might try spraying those with contact cleaner and swiping them back and forth, those control the color of the background.
