Can someone recommend a more quiet 92mm fan for my AVP 625 in my G20 Upright?

Some here might know I put on a big Halloween display, We use windshield wiper motors for displays because they are gear-drive and very reliable….decades of rough use. However, they typically turn too fast for a realistic motion so I use Pwm speed controls.
Being digital means it can even be controlled by a computer, which means they could be temperature controlled. Just like your PC, you could make the fans spin faster if it gets hotter. Arduino is a great way to do that.
Anyway, its a great option for DC motors but unfortunately does not work for AC, and many slot machines run the fans directly from the AC line. Be sure to check that first.

Ok, my middle cabinet and upper cabinet fans are 24v instead of 12v like the BB fan, so would this be the right PWM? It says "5V-35V".

Yup, they operate in a broad voltage range. As long as its within that range you are fine.

Well, time for an update. I just replaced the BB fan with one of these, and it’s remarkably silent while still keeping the machine cool. In fact, so far it’s been cooler than the OEM fan that’s much thicker and spins at a much higher RPM. The 2 larger 24v fans are next on my list to be replaced with newer, quieter fans, and this time will also have speed controllers for extra fine tuning.

Three things.
Slowing a motor with a pwm does it digitally, no heat like the old school method with a big resistor.
The reason for 4 pins is +/- in, +/- out. Simple.
I greatly respect the cooling engineering but these were designed to be left on 24/7 in a casino whete no one cares about accumulative sound. We are neither. And lets face it, they can be so loud you my not be able to use them in your house if you don’t do something.

Just be sure to keep the air flowing, pull air out the top. As mentioned, heat kills electronics.

Ok, got the 2 upper 24v fans replaced with those PWMs installed....it's fantastic! All 3 fans now softly whirling, and I can reach inside and adjust them if necessary. Can't thank you enough for this solution.

I used these, but just to be clear, these appear to be the exact same fans that were already in the machine, and are just as loud. The secret for making the 24V fans quieter was adding the adjustable circuit to make them go slower. It was just the brain box fan that was replaced with a much quieter 17db model.

I also noticed the new 12v fan has 3 wires and mine has 2 wires

I only used the speed controller for the 24V fans, but the speed controller only requires two wires as I recall. If you got the speed controller from Amazon, there’s a wiring diagram which shows you what to do.
