Looking for a PSR for SR3851. Did not find in the Downloads, this is not a popular version? There is a section in the Statistical Display mode I can't figure out - Flashing 64, then just counts down 63, 62... on the Spin key. Will probably see if I can get another EPROM if I can modify from Pay Table 126K to 126A and if my Reels can stay the same? Double Diamond 2 Coin.

My notes show r3850 and R3441 is also 2cm DD, however the latter is A. Not sure if this helps, but I thought I'd mention.

Can you post a clear photo of your award glass and reel strips laid out side by side?
Your paytable chip depends on the glass and strips you presently have.
Usually, to change a paytable normally requires a different chip, sometimes the reel strips, and glass with different award payouts.
I cannot locate either 3850 or 3851, but I also see 3441 as a 2CM Double Diamond game, but only in the S+ Bible.

There are others with the 126A paytable for different percentages, I only listed the one. If it were me, I would try the 126A chip. The low percentage of the K makes me wonder where that was made for.

Pay Table with part number on glass. The DD 400 and 1000 are cutouts.
Didn't want to remove the reels, but all 3 are identical, and appear to be the same as the 3441 PSR.
I went through some of the reel tests and Line #1 = - - - and Line #8 = 1B 1B 1B, same as 3441. I will step through the rest, but if they are all the same, so you think I can use any of the DD 2Coin 126A chips as long as I change the Jackpots?

Whoever put those inserts in (400 & 1000) wanted to cheat the players of their proper winnings.

Offhand and without a PSR sheet in my hand, I believe those are supposed to be 800 & 1600?
Any smart player would see either one of those jackpot amounts show up on the display, if they were they to hit them.

Are there any labels or stickers showing which cheating casino the cabinet came from?
There may some tamper tape still stuck on your MPU board over the top of the chips.
Chances are you'll see N.J. or TX on the jurisdiction tamper tapes.

Also, I wouldn't mess with your chips.
Those are probably about the highest % chips you'll ever find for a straight "S"machine.
I heard about those other chips that are only 85 & 80 percent you're talking about, those were the worse percentage chips in United States at the time.

The chip only has black electrical tape over the EPROM window. The IGT Bible lists 3851 as a 126K Pay Table, with 400/1000. Was initially looking for a PSR for 3851 to confirm some settings. Hope to confirm I can just change the jackpots and use a different 126A to get better winning percentages. I wonder if because of the lower payout, if the hit frequency would be noticeable?

To change the percentage on a slot machine, you have to change the reel chip...not the "126A" versus a "126K".
The difference between an "A" or "K", is where the symbols are located on the reel strips, and the amount of the awards on an award glass.

The 3851 chip is for an ENTIRELY DIFFERENT GAME...
Why?
Because it uses a "K" paytable compare to the "A" version of the Double Diamond game...which means different glass, different reel strips.
The only thing the same between the two chips is the name of the game.
While they're BOTH 'Double Diamond" games, they are entirely different versions of that theme.

I have the 3851 chip installed with the 400/1000 glass. Was looking for the PSR to confirm both the payout
and reel positions.

From the above suggestion, I looked at the 3441 PSR and the reels and most of the Pay Table (except Jackpot) appear to match.

You can probably enter in the symbol reel position, in a strip test, to verify the award for those two top combos.
Basically, reverse-PSR method...lol

You have very typical regular double diamond strips, any SS CHIP number that is preceded by a RS will work in the S machine.

Just go to test 4 in the menu, number 4 in the coins played window, push the spin reels button one time, the three double diamond symbols should be on the pay line and the payouts should be in the display, each time you press the button another payout will be displayed, do that all the way down to the cherry payouts.

RS/SS3441,42. RS/SS3443, RS/SS3799. Will work

I should not have said bible in my earlier post - I was trying to confirm the 400/1000 Jackpot for my chip. I did see the SS/SR designation in one of the .pdf files for Double Diamond (126A), but could not find a corresponding (126K) sheet.

I went to the test 4 and do confirm I see the three Double Diamonds and 100/400 flashing in the Credits window. Stepping through to the cherries, all of the single coin payouts match the pay table glass and all except the 3 Diamonds on the 3441 sheet.

Thank you for the confirmation on the RS Chip numbers - I can see the correlation now. Now to find a RS3441 chip!

When you went into test 4, the number in the display should be the chip in your machine!

Where did you come up with the 126k? Nothing I have shows that information??

The RS/SS INDICATES that the SS3441 will work in your S machine.

3851 is the current number from my machine.
The 126K comes from the IGT Master EPROM list in the "IGT Member Docs & General Docs" area. It's one of the only references to 3851 on the site that I could find. I assumed the 126K refers to the 400/1000 payout instead of the 800/1600 on the 126A sheet. That's what I was trying to confirm.
Thanks again for the assistance. I feel better about using a chip other than the 3851 (3850 is also shown as a 126K with 85%).

All I could think of is why the heck do you want the wrost chips in the world in your machine?
Did you install those rotten reel chips at Trump's bankrupt Taj Mahal in AC?

I only picked this up a few weeks ago and got the machine working. Its my first slot. Definitely want to get away from the current 80%! The 3441 looks to be 95%, and I wanted to be able to use the same top glass if possible. Looks like I should just by swapping out the jackpot pays. With so little info available on the S-Slot online, I'm glad for the info and help from this community. I went through all the forums, including the .net site to try and make sure these weren't repeat. I did put a post about my machine on the S/S+ topic for more info.

I have that SS3441 chip onhand here at work just laying around collecting dust.
It came out of a 2-coin Double Diamond machine that was changed out to a 3-coin game.
I don't need it...PM your address and I'll send it to you.
I would ask RB first if it's okay to use an SS chip in place of a RS chip.

Jim already stated that the ss will work. The ss3441 was preceded by rs3441.
