Pace slot machine DUO locks.

Illinois Lock Company. DUO locks are used on Pace slot machines. DUO locks are the most difficult locks to work on, they are not designed like other wafer locks, they have a set up where you can't use a blank key to impression the lock. Then you have a one way snap ring holding the plug inside of the lock. If you pull the wafers, you will have a difficult time assembling them, if not impossible. So, you can't rekey the locks, impression the locks, and picking is a nightmare. Another important factor is that some of the wafers have a milled side cut into the key.

After I just got finished up with the DUO locks for a customer, I just located a service kit from the early 1960's that came up for sale today.  :banghead:

This kit is a game changer for me, I will be able to service the DUO locks easier, better security, life is better.
This is the keying chart, wafers, etc.

The keys can be a issue since they make several keys.
