How Do I Reset My Bally 1090-1

Was working on a friend's Bally 1090-1 slot.  Got it running but I forgot to check to see if the hopper was full.  I hit on three oranges...paid out three tokens and the hopper was dry.  After that the machine would not light up or coin up.

I presume I need to reset it somehow.  Can someone please tell me how to do that?  I looked and looked for a reset button but could find nothing.

OK....never got a reply to this post but by extensive searching through 1090-1 posts I discovered that I needed to push in a metal bar to reset things.  Did that and the game came back alive.  Yea!!

The problem I have now is that the game will payout one. two or three times and then not after that.  Through experimentation I determined that the Payout Counter wasn't getting reset.  If I manually reset it then payouts will occur again....until it doesn't reset once more. 

I pulled down the 1090-1 schematic off the CDYN site.  It is a very basic circuit but I am stumped by some of the nomenclature used to ID one of the switches.

There is a NO Reel Mech B-3 switch shown in the path to the reset coil.  Is this referring to to the B Switch Units on the Reel Mech as shown on page 23 of the 5000 manual?  If not what does this designation mean?
