SPACE DUEL

I have a Raspberry Pi - connected to a mini arcade platform that runs mame.
In Particular I really enjoy the game Space Duel which is a vector game.
I gave up my cocktail mame table due to space and converted my stand up cabinet over to Jamma as it is much more resilient to people screwing around with the interface and OS.

I would like to add Space Duel to the stand up version but I can't find a Jamma board that runs it.

I have read through a couple of forums about the Game-Elf Jamma board that can potentially be modified to run other mame games.
There are a lot of cautionary tales about the boards bricking themselves is someone tries to modify the SD card.

The question becomes has anyone here done this ? - I am prepared to buy another ELF board and provide the Space-Duel Bin file if someone has the expertise to make this work.

I found this board.
It plugs into a Raspberry PII and adds a Jamma interface.
