Hi
Does anyone know the best place to have 17" LED monitors repaired? I have a Ceronix and a Wells Gardner that do nothing. Thanks,   Dan

He has LED monitors.

The only suggestion I have on those is to verify the power supply works. Not just voltage reading but you should test their PS with a load…like a light bulb. It is the highest cause of LED monitors not working. Second is a failed distribution board, third is fluorescent bulb failure.

I think. Unless ai forgot something.

When you power them up, shine a flashlight on them at an angle, to see if anything is trying to be displayed.
If you can faintly see some boot-up text, or the game itself with a flashlight on it, then the backlight could be burned out, or the ballast that lights them up,  is dead.
Very easily repairable, if you have the right tools and know-how.
What models do you have? The numbers.


Also, you don't have "LED" monitors, you have LCD monitors.
Learn and know the difference...lol

The freight will kill you if you send them out unless you find someone close by. If the panel or the touch screen are dead the monitor is not worth the repair. A new panel will run around $160, touch screen around $130 just for the part.

I bought two IGT slots with bad monitors. I happened to have some old computer monitors, took them out of their cases. taped the digitizers in front, and they work perfect.

Take a look at Alibaba.com
You can get lcd display panels without the driver electronics very cheaply.
Ie 13” display boards at $5, min or set quantity 10.
It might take a month and other than import tarrifs they usually ship for free.
$50 is better than $110 for 1 and shipping of $80.
