Games of Nevada reel bundle not spinning

Hello all
Just going to throw this out there. I have a Games of Nevada slot that I've managed to keep running for the past 20 years or so. These machines have motor driven reel bundles. Seems the reel bundle is seizing up and the motor struggles and can't turn them anymore. With the belt removed the motor functions properly.

Looks like I am going to be disassembling the bundle to clean and lubricate but before I try this, are there any GON owners out there who have done this? It looks complex and I know schematics for these games are well guarded somewhere if they exist at all.

If anyone has anything to say that will help, I'd love to hear from you. I will have the progress documented in the event someone needs help  in the future.

That's an interesting machine! I "righted" your photo. 

This may be a tough one to find help for. Hopefully member wolftalk will chime in.
If you go to our archive site there is some interesting information on a couple of Games of Nevada machines including a photo of the founder! Just input "Games of Nevada" in the search box.

I had tried that but maybe I was already logged in?  I clicked on ' Forum Topics' and there they were. Guess that's all I had to do, thanks!
