quick hits, bonus spins for more better payouts

when you hit the bonus part of the game and choose 3 matching numbers...
is there a way to make the payouts larger or looser?  The machine i have doesn't give you anything extra when you hit a bonus. It plays normal and pays the same way.
you get the free spins, but its not giving any extra money.

You can ram clear and change the payback percentage but that won't help your experience.

i thought when you hit the bonuses, that they where looser and therefore paid out better. I didn't know if there was a setting to adjust this part of the game, obviously not.
