S2000 reeled slot in a Vision Cabinet questions

I have seen pictures of a reeled machine in a Vision cabinet and no lcd screen in the top box but never in person.  These are seemingly a S2000 reeled slot except rather than having the visible external speaker on either side of the cabinet, these have the speakers from a vision machine that have only a screen the width of the tmolding.  I dont think they are uncommon, just new to me in person.  These are chop top machines with the printer in the top box so there is only one speaker for the machine, the right one in the top box.  There is no speaker in the lower cover where the pay tray is if its a coin in coin out machine.  I should add this machine in question is running a super stepper board.  There is no hint of varta damage or even a leak.

Questions:

1.  Is there a way I can add the lower speaker or will I have to change harness?  As of now there is no connector for the lower speaker that I can find.  The only open connector I see is for the left speaker for the top box.

2.  These are casino fresh machines.  I've tried 3 of the machines, all do not read the door sensors.  On one machine I have tied the cash can door switch wires together with no improvement.   These do not have a belly door switch or visible connector for it and the cherry switch that senses the cash can is in place was disconnected.  I have previously removed player tracking wiring etc from machines before but with this being a different cabinet than I am used too, is there anything else I need to tie together to make the door sensors work?  I have had that issue in the past where one of the sensors like the belly door switch or the cash can door switch weren't wired together therefor the door sensors wouldn't work.  So I guess I am asking is there anything special with these cabinets I need to take into consideration to make the door optics work?

There were some early S2000 machines built with the Vision top box with the hidden speakers. I used to have one. What you describe, having only the right top box speaker and a printer on the left side is a modification. It didn't come from the factory that way. It was converted to a ticket machine. In order to add a printer to the top box, one of the speaker housings had to be removed to make room. This is the simplest way to add a speaker. The other way is to locate the printer to the right of the reels which requires a lot of parts and lots of work. I believe IGT once had a conversion kit for this. New reel shelf, glass, printer mounting parts, etc.

I believe you can add a coin tray speaker. Your amplifier board should be located on the back wall of the top box. I believe the J5 2-pin connector goes to the coin tray speaker. If something is plugged in there, it is probably the harness you need. If not, you might have to buy or make a harness.

I just reveived one of these machines with the one speaker to the right and the ticket printer on the left.  Where does this speaker plug in?  There is no audio board or power board and no way to add one that I can figure out.  Looking to find out how to get the speaker to work.

The connector comes from the mother board up through the top.  There should be a connector existent for the left speaker and it'll need to be tied together in order for the sound to work.

My machines do not have the speaker below the main door like traditional s2k machines so I swapped that cover out and put a cover with a speaker in it in.  I then ran a wire connected to what would have connected to the left speaker to the lower speaker.  The machine sounds much better.
