One of a kind IGT Superboard for Players Edge Plus Poker

Many years ago i commissioned an engineer to turn a regular Players Edge poker board into a Superboard. This is the result. This is a one off prototype that as I recall ran just fine. I intended to build these and sell them but alas, life got in the way. So you can turn any Players Edge into a superboard, just duplicate the work done on this board. $125 plus shipping. I noticed there is a red wire not connected on one end. Is that by design…and if not do you know where it goes?

I looked that board over and don't see a place that looks like it wants that wire. If memory serves the modification wound up not needing it.

It looks very interesting to me.

In the standard board, you have a single socket for a Program chip but no Data socket. I didn't see a spot for the second chip ?
Being a modded standard does It uses a CAPx or a CAP chip.

I also believe the superboard has a jumper for a larger memory bank used by some games, how is this handled here.
