IGT S2k Printer issue

Just got this machine.  Fixed all the issues except printing.

Printer is a gen 3 evolution, green light shows it is in a ready state.

Printer is enabled, but hitting collect goes straight to hand pay.

Is there any more settings to look at/change, or is this printer likely DOA?

Your printer is fine, your brain might be DOA....lol just kidding.

First, I'd go to 4.3 in the settings under i/o tests, and auto-configure the printer.
Then you can test the printer operation in the i/o tests 4.7.2.
Let us know your test results.

Also check your handpay settings...don't know how?

Printer is configured and installed.

Test print works fine.

Limits are locked in countless mode.  I can’t adjust W-2G limit as it asks for a key switch-2.

I didn’t set up this machine.  Thinking about clearing & starting from scratch as the easiest fix.

I'm a newbie, buttttt.  I had a similar issue.  I fixed it by getting a tito@home module, now it prints and accepts tickets.  Just a thought, do you have a tito system plugged into it?

Make sure validation is set to standard.

All set on that machine.  Performed a clear, put in the settings correctly & it prints fine.

Not sure how they had it set up initially.

Probably was setup for tito.  I usually set all mine up for tito so they go to handpay if tito is not installed so it doesn't print out a useless ticket.
