S2000 WBA 12-Tito ticket only for acceptance

I've had a request to have the bv only accept a Tito ticket but reject all denominations of bills.  I see in the manual you can turn off 4 way acceptance of certain or all denominations but I'm curious if there is a way to turn off accepting all denominations. 

If a dip switch setting can't stop the acceptance of bills can I darken the reader lense within the bv head?  Or is there a firmware version that would accomplish this? I think the mag reader mainly reads the tito ticket doesn't it?

I've heard of places sticking some tape up onto the lens on top of the pathway head, so that the validator couldn't accept vouchers, but to stop bill acceptance?

Yeah it's a weird request but for a good cause.

The person receiving the machine lives in assisted living but loves playing slot machines.  His kids are purchasing the machine for him to have in his room but the assisted living home put a stipulation it cannot accept money.  So to give him the closest experience he could get in the casino, I'm hoping to have the machine accept the ticket only.  I put a Tito system in the machine.

All I can think of is that there were certain TITO board versions that you could buy, that came programmed to give out free credits to the machine - whenever you pushed the Service/Change button.

Funny thought....Slot machines are designed to take money...lol
 You might be on the right track about the dips...Jim of Midwest Slots is good with those.

Thanks for the thought on Jim.  He is very knowledgeable and reached out.  I need to finish swapping soon n the buttons and will give his suggestion a try.  I'll post the results to hopefully help the next guy.

Ok. With Jim's guidance, turning on dip switches 2 through 7 worked.  The machine now only accepts the Tito ticket!   :thank_you:
