Hello all, I bought a couple of slot machines from a guy today. I am hoping someone can help me identify what type of machines they are. One is a Bally and the other is a WMS. The WMS has the OS and Game card in it. I will need a clear card for it. The Bally came with a USB drive that is suppose to have everything on it for the machine like OS, Game and Clear. I need to figure out how that works. Both of them will not boot so I am pretty sure they need new batteries. I need to figure out exactly what they are so I can post in those areas for specific info on each one. I never have messed with either one of these type machines. I would appreciate any help. Thanks

It looks like there is a bunch of game files and clear files on this thumb drive for the Bally machine. Can the machine be cleared and games loaded directly from the thumb drive? Thanks

The Bally machine is an Alpha 2 Pro V/32. It uses two batteries type CR2477N on the MPU, and one CR2032 on the backplane. I would start with replacing the batteries then do a Ram clear. At this point try to boot up. It should boot to the point you need to enter the game parameters. The game and OS should be on the hard drive. They don't need to be reinstalled.
