Wms BB2 universal animator tilt

New to me BB2 reel machine.  Never seen it work properly.

Boots up,  briefly looks correct,  then gets a tilt with

“ Single Pending Status Universal Animator Command
Timeout”

Any clue what this is?  Thanks!

Thanks. The board for the little TS was loose,  may have been shorting out.  Ribbon cable may be questionable as well.

Re-seated and machine works normally, except no sound.

It is connected properly,  so I guess I’ll swap the amp with another BB2 to test.

Kind of a pain to get at on the BB2 reels machine though.

I used some aux extension cords to connect the sound from the silent machine to one with sound.

It works.  Ordered an amp, but not looking forward to trying to remove the old one.  Seems really buried in the bb2 reel game cabinet.

I replaced the amp & sound works.

Occasionally getting universal animator tilts.  Touch screen works fine,  so thinking maybe the ribbon cable or the yellow connection cable.

The machine won’t cash out.  Printer is enabled and ready.

Hitting the button does nothing.  Button shows 0/1 in diagnostic test.

Maybe the backplane?

Go back into the diagnostic tests and test the printer.
Print a void ticket.

I think I figured out the issue-  after clearing,  the only validation options are system, or enhanced.

Guess it’s a JUR issue (Ontario)?

In any case button works with handpay, so I’ll probably have to get a Tito,  or a swap JUR chips.

You wouldn't need TITO to print tickets...only to accept printed tickets.
Try setting the validation to [System]?

One thing for sure, you are not the first one to have this problem with a printer...probably won't be the last one either, but you really need to learn how to do a search for answers.
Almost nothing hasn't been covered in NLG before.
