my docs say the 484-[1253,1254,1255] were used on model 742A-448 ... a "star special" machine built for the navy.
If that's what you have, the reel tapes will have 7/BE (seven printed on top of a bell), 11/PL and target/OR symbols and it would be a short cabinet with no upper compartment above the reels.
I don't have the drawing for the payout counter disc (w-923-349), so an appropriate disc would need to be determined from the payouts on the glass. Pretty much any hopper can be made to work with some plug rewiring and if necessary replacing the payout counter disc.
if you can't post pictures here due to size limits, email highest possible ("actual size" if taking on a phone/tablet) to slotpics@cdyn.com. Entire front of machine and some pics of inside stuff is helpful, especially if there's relays on the reel mech.
the only "star special" schematic I've found so far is for a 742A-28C and it uses a 24 pin hopper plug ... and only 21 pins are used. May be worth looking at the socket in the cabinet to see how many of the pins are used on your plug ... usually you can see with a mirror or take a pic without unscrewing the socket from the floor.
