Avp 2.0 Gameking License issue

Got this machine all set up, but getting tilts asking for a license.

Machine has a dongle installed, tried a couple USB hubs.  It lights green,  but is either the wrong dongle, or the license is invalid.

Problem solved.



Turns out the Real Time Clock (RTC) has to be set for a date later than the license dongle start date.

I was able to access the dongle’s information using the 007 Ekey.  In this case I set the RTC for 2013, and machine is now fully licensed and working.

Glad you got it sorted out and thanks for posting the solution   I think the reason you didn't get any response was because most people here are using show BIOS.

Wow...what in the world made you change the date of the RTC?
I would have never guessed that.
Did the clock have the wrong time programmed to begin with?
Usually the only time you notice that, is when you print a ticket and see the time is wrong.

I had seen some writup of a Trimline license issue on the Delphi forum.  Mentioned RTC being important.

Initially tried setting the RTC 2006 & 2007 to
Match the copyright of the license.  Still a red tilt.

Eventually saw the start date on the license info
