IGT S2000 Change Denom Button

My 2nd newbie question:  I have a machine with button on far right side that will change denom from $1, $5, $10 and $25.  I installed a button on my other machine, hooked up exactly like the working machine, cleared and keyed and set up 4 player denoms, but the button does nothing.  I assumed that's what the leads were for.  What am I missing on this one?

Hmm..okay...I have no idea.
I use a touch screen panel for that.
What SB and SG chips are you using?
Maybe I can dig up an information sheet for you?

Stepper base is SB001000, Stepper games are SG000363, have an SS5576 and version chip VS011GX1.  I believe I can use a touchpad if I had one, but rather have a deck button.  Thinking I may need a different chip but unsure which one would work the way I want it to.
