bill validator won't accept it's own tickets

Hey Gang,

I just picked up a couple used slot machines from a buddy, they both work but I'm having an issue with one of them.

I don't know much about them but I'm learning as much as possible.

I have a 2011 IGT G32MLD "game king" it has a ticket printer and bill validator in it, the printer works well and the bill validator works with actual money but it won't accept tickets that have been printed on this machine. it takes them and replies "can't accept at this time" or something like that. also, the available credits are very close to 100k and anytime the credits exceed the 100k it automatically prints a ticket for $100 to get the credits back below 100k.

I'm wondering if that has something to do with the not accepting tickets thing?? it did accept them at one point but now won't.

You probably have an IGT AVP G23....with the "23" signifying that the lower MLD monitor and upper LCD screen are 23" diagonally-sized.
Pretty sure why it's printing at 100k, has something to do with the credit limits,in the setup.
You pretty much cannot change much without something called an Ekey7.
These Ekeys allows you to get into the settings to change stuff, enable games, etc.
Here's the bad news, those keys are very expensive...about 3-400 dollars. 

For ticket acceptance, you need something they call a TITO board.
This special board connects to a USB port on the suitcase board with the yellow handle.
When setup correctly, it validates tickets printed from your machine or other machines that have the TITO board.
