WMS 550 Changed bill validator. Do I need to clear?

  I inserted a working bill validator acceptor in my 550. Everything works great EXCEPT the bill acceptor light doesn’t come on and I cannot insert any money.
Do I need to clear this machine and reinstall game?
It couldn’t it be that easy, or can it?
Please advise

Probably just have to key machine and enable printer depending on which machine it was working in. The printer needs correct firmware.

Shouldn't have to clear, I don't think, unless you want or need to change accounting, Coin denom or Player denom.  First and easiest thing I would try is open main door, push white test button, DO NOT close door, and try to enable printer, 7.2.2.
