Bally V22/22 Not Booting

So apparently,  I have a new problem  with my V22. Originally,  the battery died and I had to replace them. Went I went to clear it, apparently  I was using the wrong clear card, and it did t let me go any further. I now have the correct clear card, but I'm not booting up at aĺl. When I power up, all screens say no sync, then the top 2 screens go off completely,  and the bottom stays on, but the whole time...the machine never boots up. I tried re-seatimg the hard drive, but no change.
Any thoughts on this?

does the mpu post? (do you hear a beep a few seconds after power up)?  Sometimes the cmos is so corrupt that it keeps the mpu from booting.  Remove the 2 batteries and power up.  If you see the bally screen, then power down and put the batteries back and run the clear.
