I just got a call from a person who has a 1973 Williams Jubilee pinball machine that I could strip for parts. I just need to pick it up, damn I wish that I had this when I purchased the Swinger.

I've figured out the pattern on the cabinet. Start with all white, then the blue circles, and red at last. I located the 3 center points of the circles. The notes are small enough to fit on a slide decal if necessary.
Both sides are equal, just mirrored.

Well, I sourced a Williams parts pinball machine from 1973. It was in poor shape, water damage, chipped glass, etc.
Everything I need for my pinball Swinger restoration is intact and in excellent condition.

Using the parts pinball machine, I was able to rebuild the Motor unit. The parts pinball machine motor unit coil was cooked. I swapped it out a poof its running like a bat out of hell.

I am 66 years old, I can walk away from a project, get a cup of coffee, relax, and work on it when I am good and ready. I don't work on it when I am stressed out, like after the July 4th auto collision, I had to quit for a few days. I read a lot of books, manuals, anything to enlighten me about a project.

I couldn't have done this when I was: young. I was: immature, impatient, stupid, and short tempered.

Since I am out of my comfort zone working on this project, I discovered things along the way. One is the Coin Mech have two pins on the one side and a bracket on the other. I didn't see the pins in the drawings, or overlooked them. The donor pinball machine had a Coin Mec in the coin door and that's how I figured it out. The arrows point to the holes in the picture.

The back door for the Jubilee is in excellent condition. It has the original lock, which I am keeping and I put the key in the coin door hook. :rotfl:

Working on the Backbox Replay Unit. Another item cleaned up. The parts were sluggish and the switches were dirty.
