Quad Clone SIMM Burner

I wasn't sure where to post this.  I own a Quad Clone burner and it has stopped working.  I tried to update the  firmware to solve the problem  but  computer isn't seeing it.   I have tried two different computers and USB cables.  Burner shows up in Devices on the computer but will not connect.  Makes no sense.  I tried to get hold of the guy in the Russia that makes these and no reply.  Appreciate any input.  Ted

I'm sure you did, but did you try changing ports?
Any recent operations system updates that you know of, including automatic ones?

Yes tried switching ports and same result.  It doesnt connect to it
