I'm getting back to you because my IGT at startup tells me DOOR OPEN MB and MACHINE TYPE MISMATCH.

To solve the second problem, it sounds like you need to go into the settings under (7.1.6) Machine Type, and change it to to the type of machine you have...whether it's an "Upright" or "Slant-Top" cabinet.
From the manual...>>>

3.1.6 Machine Type (Option: [7.1.6])
The machine type must be set to slant-top or upright following a cold
power up.
If the option selected does not match the hardware used,
the machine will tilt.
Use the following steps to configure the machine type:
1. Navigate through the list of values using the CHANGE and
CASH/CREDIT switches.
2. Press the PLAY MAX CREDITS switch to exit the screen and save
the changes, or press the SPIN REELS switch to reset the value to
the previous setting.

You replied to my message that I posted on the nlg igts2000 denver duck site.
I am French and I use Google Translate, I don't understand, I can't find this option when I turn the key, it gives me a menu but not the options that you described in your message. I don't know anything about this machine, can you help me more?

Turning the Jackpot Reset key only gets you into the accounting menu.
You want to get into the settings...>>>
Open the door, press the little white button once.
That will get you into menus.
