BB1 CPU FATAL ERROR

Hey everyone,

My old BB1 CPU went bad so I had to get a new one and my new one is refusing to read any games at all.

Gold Fish or Lucky Lemmings: "FATAL ERROR, GAME AND OS VERSIONS ARE NOT COMPATIBLE, GAME BOOT HALTED!!!" When in reality I am using their compatible OS Cards (G1.3)

Lucky Meerkats I get an error where it looks for an HD and then system halts, can't remember what said error was. Old CPU did this too when it went bad!

Of course Seller is refusing to help me out and just accept they gave me a faulty CPU and tells me "I buy bb1 board and try to run bb2 game"

What is causing this exactly?

Its been a while since I looked at my NXT1 board, but I remember there was an OLD version and NEW version. I'm going off of memory but that looks like the older CPU. I think the older one would run some really old games or just mechanicals. Maybe someone else can jump in to verify.

Blue and green both run the same software/bios, etc.  The difference is the blue one has a lower TDP cpu (it is also 50 Mhz slower, green one is PIII 700Mhz, the blue one is PIII 650Mhz).

These older OS's validated OS/Game compatibility before it validated the CF card for corruption. 

I would try another G1.3 card, maybe the one you are using has gone bad?

That might be possible Rick, I will get back to you on that.

Yet, I did try an E1.11 game and I was getting this error when attempting to load:

Warning: Mounting "/dev/hdc" failed
ImgMgr: Game CF Not accessible, no HD
ImgMgr: :StopSys: ImgMgr: Recovery Failure.

********************SYSTEM HALTED*******************

What I'm confused about is the CPU is trying to look for a Hard Drive? Yet I tried this exact same software set on a CPU-NXT2 (Since that OS is compatible on a BB2 CPU) and it loaded and played perfectly fine. So I am stumped if the CPU I received is bad or what else

UPDATE: someone gave me a new BB1 CPU and looks like the CPU itself was a dud, the CF cards are still good.
