Found igt slot machine

Found this in my buddy’s basement. Gave him $50 for it. No clue what it is or how to use it. Any help would be great

That is an IGT S+ 3 line RW&B machine.  Good game.  Error 21 is coin-in optics. Might just need cleaned. It is located just under the coin comparitor.

It was not plugged in.  I don’t see a harness to plug into it either.

 Robinette,

  The machine pictured has 25¢ denomination in the glass.  The comparitor appears to be for a large coin ($).  I think you are going to need a different comparitor (CC16) and a harness.

I just found this spliced wire right next to the comparator. Could they have bypassed it?

Need a better picture of the plug where the two or three wires are spliced together! You are missing a coin encoder, the coin optic board is not secured correctly, no coin will ever pass thru it, thus no credit and probably a code 21.

If you want to get this working, I have all the parts to fix the coin in issue.

So it was all put togeather with the comparator in the pic above. I took it out and took optic out to clean it. It looked great to me. Also he is a better pic of spliced wires.

I don't know what would happen if that purple wire is spliced together with the yellow one?
I'd unplug that from the Molex connector on the mostly orange colored wired door harnessing.
That's someone's hack job.
