Argos v Non argos question

Hi All
looking for a little infomation on the following, i have 2 identical SG Twinstar machines one is running Argos software with a cash connection game and the 2nd machine is still running the 2 CF cars for games. I have a few spare boards that came with the machines that will not work in either of the SG's. So next thing i did was try swapping the CF cards board and put it in the machine that had the Argos board running and it wont start up , same as wehn i tried putting the argos board into the CF Card machine it too would not boot up.  Is there something more then just the CPU boards preventing from swapping the boards from machine to machine?
are there different bios chips stopping this? if so are they out there for purchase?

It sounds like you might have two WMS Blade machines, and one of them has been converted to use ArgOS software? Twinstar machines do not run CF cards.

thanks for the reply , so once convereted to argos i cant remove the quixant board and put in another board that uses he cards it has to be an argos board for another argos board?

machine 1 currently running cape cash - Argos machine

machine 2 running huuf and puff with 2 cf cards

i tried to put the huff and puff board into machine 1 and nothing doesnt even boot , same if i put cape cash board into machine 2. its no big problem im just trying to figure out what stops them from being swapped does it change more then just the cpu board once converted to argos?

does it matter what Argos install usb i purchase as i see there are so many for sale but all have different Letters on ht end of the numbers.
