Aristocrat MK6 issues
« on: September 09, 2026, 06:03:01 pm »
Hi guys.

Got two aristocrat mk6 machines here!

Both saying no signal input….

One setup as lucky 88 and will boot into eprom checks etc and say program load successful and go straight into no signal input.

Other set up as more chilli, yesterday when we bought it it would go into the game (more chilli), and then after that it showed a door fault which we tried to fix (cycle the door switch a few times after moving note taker) and then after that it boots straight into no signal input. Sometimes (rarely) does eprom check etc.

On boats machines we have attempted to reseat all boards etc and made sure they’re in firmly

Any help would be much much muchly appreciated as it’s getting frustrating haha

I have experienced this same issue on my mk6.  The cause on my machine was the logic board.  The board, after years of heat, will warp, uasually by sagging in the middle.  When inserted into the backplane  good contact is difficult.  Some small traces on the board may have been broken near the connector.   I have gotten the game to come up by manipulating the board during boot up.

I have had the same issue as well. I ended up putting a little "Shim" between the logic door and the board and it worked perfect. At first I was using bubble wrap, but I am now using a piece of anti static foam(for holding Eproms) and it seems to work well. I have switched boards and the issue happens with all boards.
