Do you have any numbers off of them? They should have some kind of identifier on them somewhere (bottom of strip somewhere, front or back).

The only numbers I can find are hand written on the back. There's a "M" number & an "E" number along with Mfg & date. Which one would be the strip number? I can barely make them out because they are so dirty but readable. I can't clean the backs because if I just touch them the color comes off & why I want to replace them or complete reels w/strips. Thanks

Ok, let me look. I have some in the M239 series, so I might get lucky. I know i didnt list all of my E1000/2000 strips. I listed some on my website, but the listings are all jacked up. Something went wrong when the batch uploaded apparently! Anyway, I will let you know if I find the set you need.

I might have something here in the garage storage. They were still mounted on the tins, but I don't remember if they were Bars & 7's only or with the Cherries too.

Glad to here you found a ribbon cable. Did that fix the progressive units problem? I found a few cables but none were long enough. I will look outside in a few for those strips.

I haven't received the ribbon cable in the mail yet, but have my fingers crossed in hope. I have a feeling it won't, but I'll be grinning from ear to ear if it does . I'll let you know the outcome

Well, I have good news and bad news! I was able to find 2/3 strips you need, perfect condition! Bass news, as you may have figured out, is that I only have 2 of of 3 strips! I have M234-321 & M234-322 only.


Sorry I couldn't come through for you. I was overjoyed when I sent the numbers!

There probably isn't a copyright issue with old strips like that. You can contact Express Imaging in Las Vegas to see if they will reproduce them if repros are okay.

Well I don't have any better news.. After digging out from yesterday's snow storm, I was able to look for the reel strips. The ones I have are just bars & 7's, no cherries.. Sorry...

What am I missing here? The strips i have are clearly labeled, as I suspect other strips are? M234-321, M234-322, & M234-323? Why are we going by reel stops, pics, etc for these strips when they clearly (well, to me anyway) have identifiers?

Some of the strips I have found on my machines have no ID label at the end of the strip, so I have to assume they are aftermarket strips. I have had to map them out because of it.


I have been "repurposing" some machines by modifying the symbols and payout charts:

This adds some real personality to the old E-series machines.


So it involves re-mapping the strips to correspond to the M3 chip data.
