I would like to convert my S2000 5 reel into a 3 reel set up to install my new game five line- SUPER SPIN 2X3X4X5X. I don't have any of the parts needed.
And want to make this conversion AUTHENTIC.

From what i can tell i would need

#1 5 BUTTON DECK
#2 3 REEL BUTTON DECK WIRING HARNESS FOR FIVE BUTTON DECK
#3 2 I/O BOARDS FOR 3 REEL SET UP--NO LONGER NEEDED
#4 3 BACK LIT REELS
#5 1 SHELF DECK FOR Reel's? SIZE ?
#6 1 FIVE LINE DISPLAY----??? TO THE LEFT OF REEL GLASS-IM THINKING ITS 6-6-3 DISPLAY
#7 3 REEL 5 BUTTON WIRING HARNESS-
#8 TOPPER PLEXI FOR THE SUPER SPIN 2X3X4X5X- ********(PARTS 1-7 ARE THE MOST IMPORTANT,CAN WAIT ON TOPPER)*********

The I/O boards are the same, you can just leave them there.  The 5 line "display" is nothing more than a light box with 5 either leds or incandescent bulbs, not entirely necessary.  Depending on the backlight controller you have, you may or may not need one.  Do you have the led controller, or the older style incandescent controller?  You can use the 14 button deck on 3 reel games, the only buttons that work would be Max Bet, cash out and Service, but you can play the game.  So in short, the bare minimum is:

3 reel shelf with reel harness for backlit reels.
3 backlit reels

To make it look "authentic" you will also need
5 button deck (specify your reel glass type, as the harnesses are different if you have a 6-6-3 display)
5 line stepper light.

#5 - That deoends in where your here the credit display will be? It's either to the right of the reels (short reel glass) or at the bottom (long reel glass)?

Good to know i wont need the I/O BOARDS.
In regards to the BACKLIT  CONTROLLER, i do have the led controller board for my 5 reel set up.
In regards to BUTTON DECK,i do want to make this conversion "Authentic"
In regards to the reel glass type,can you tell by the picture posted harness needed-AS KIT IS IN TRANSIT ? IS IT THE 6-6-3 display ?
Is the reel glass for a short deck shelf?

If your 5 reel machine you are converting has the long reel glass, which 5 reel machines have, then the short reel glass you are getting with your 3 reel kit won't work out of the box.

Also, my experience with the 3 reel and 5 reel is that the deck I/O card for the 5 reel won't work with the 3 reel deck.
