Would anyone have a Bally Alpha with a Cherry Red kit installed in it? Shoot me a PM.

Tom,  I do have one, Just now seeing the post.  I am not pulling the reel strips out as I just built this one about a month ago if that is your question, If not shoot away.  If it is compatabilty on a 512 box for the cherry red/golden flash/black star or whatever it was I think it works with a AVBBP26S300M-x or a AVBBP26S1GHZ-0x  --Think it was the last one-in short chip form (32-pin) the 1-gig box uses long- (42-pin)  You have to use the 336-05-09 os and will need a 335 clear.  Boot time is much longer but it works.  I stumbled on this a couple years ago I just use all 1/2 gig boxes in all my alpha 1's now.

Charles, This is off line and out of place --But if you were ROZ I would trade the strips for the burning sensation  and let Buzz watch from heaven.  That is about the only way you would get them--- :arrowthruhead: .  No pun intended to any parties here-- :duh: .

Just a tid bit...

the AVBBP26S300M 32pin chip with the 336os on the 512 box WILL run cherry red.

I tried the other chip mentioned above by sizz and it doesn't work (though I could have a corrupt chip)

Looking REALLY good! The 3 Bullseye bonus games for the S9s and Quick Hit are my favorite games for this platform. Doesn't get old that fast! Love the topper! Now if I could score some original Cherry Red strips!
