Orange goo help

After being off for a few months, I turned on our IGT 4th of July slot machine.  I opened the machine to empty the coins and immediately saw this orange goo accumulated on the right hand side, over the electrical (I think) box.  It had dripped down from above, near the arm area.  Pictures are attached below.  The first picture is looking directly inside the machine and the second was taken looking up from the drip.  I have no idea what this is or how to clean it up and fix the machine.  The service light is also flashing on the top of the machine.  As you can probably tell, I am a novice (old lady, but still a novice).  Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hi sbs, Welcome to NLG. It looks like grease or butterscotch pudding. I'm guessing the first one. Is your machine in a really hot area that might have "loosened" up the grease on the arm? It seems like it would take a lot of heat to do that. Is your machine an S+ or S2000? Not that it matters much but all the info the better. Also we can get your question in the right category where there is plenty of experts.

The handle mechanism has a rubber type bumper for some reason after a period of time & heat they MELT !!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you so much.  It is an S Plus.  Also, the arm has been stuck in the down position for some time, although I am not sure that is related.  Could that be the goo? The machine is in the game room, which remains around 75 degrees.  Is that too warm?  Again, I really appreciate any advice you may provide.

Nothing to do with temperature, eventually the interaction of the metal with the rubber type that IGT used for the bumper results in the orange goo.  Both my S+ did that almost at the same time.  I just cleaned it out and didn't bother putting a rubber bumper back.
