Zero out credits

Is there an easy way to zero out credits on an S2000? Thanks a bunch!

Other than cashing out? Swap the ram chips to each others sockets on the MPU and clear the crc errors that pop up with the jackpot reset key

BE CAREFUL if you're going to do this. Yes it works but many of the RAM chips used by IGT have very brittle pins and it is very easy to break them off. ( if you try to straighten a bent pin it WILL snap off).

I will note that being new at this I was really over thinking this.  Maybe you are too?  When trying to get the ticket printer set up and seeing "make sure that there are no credits on the machine when using the Key Chip", I figured out that it's as simple as pressing the cash out button (two times)which will put the machine in the attendant call mode.  The attendant would then use the operator key (or Jackpot Reset Key #2341) that fits in your upper right side of the machine to clear the machine and hand pay your cash out. 


Oddly enough, this all started after I had just gotten the bill validator to take $20 for the fist time and I ran the credits up to like $260 on 9 line penny machine.  This rarely happens to me at a real casino.

If you have a machine that is set up for coins and you have say $1500 dollars in credits on the machine the only way to cash out to zero is through the hopper and $1500 in nickels or even quarters will mean you will be refilling the hopper more than a few times. Or...... Swap the RAM chips as described above to zero the credits.
This is why it is important that you think about what values you want when you set the limits in your machines.
