SOLD ...at a loss... Bally V32 Transmissive Monitors

Purchased 3 of these V32 Transmissive Monitors from a forum vendor.  Was told he wasn't able to check for working...

Anyway,  I just now unpacked these monitors and plugged them in.  They're all DEAD.   Perhaps the touch screens may be of use.
 
I paid  $150.  each.   Will sell any one or all for best offer.  Will be packed and shipped from  77068.

Yeah, seriously.  If they don't make it right, please inform the rest of us. I have a couple of guesses who it could be...

By "forum vendor", do you mean somebody on the NLG portal with a banner?

That sucks them all not working . I understand the vendor said they were untested but really, most sellers have a fair idea if the items were last working or not.


I hope you didn't lose too much money and also hope the vendors sees you right for your loses.

Don't know where he came up with these from as he goes thru them.  I had sold him some about 3-months ago when one of his friends came by and picked them up and delivered-No shipping and they were 66.50 each!.  Touch screens are worth more than that and, From my experiance was prob. just caps in pwr. supplies etc. or video card issues.  either way quite sure someone got a good deal as these are expensive monitors!.  I keep good records and books on what leaves here. The monitors are easy to fix as long as the lcd panel is good.  Just fixed a couple the other day for a total cost of 4.32 cents and labor!.

People  assume and speculate about alot of things.  I put a classified on NLG. (with a side comment about the monitors.. with full disclosure that they didn't work. ...I just had to plug them into 110v. / and a VGA to a game.  all of 5 min of effort.)

  They didn't work. ...and that's the way I sold them. End of classified.

 If you want to keep beating a dead "horse/monitor"... that's anyone's prerogative I guess since this is a public forum.'

Chris, They get off on beating dead horses here.  I agree the wts is closed and marked sold.  You as a vendor and other Folks buy and come across things from all over the globe and US.  Sorry you lost $ on those.  You did give a good link- good luck getting those going but the touches may be good--I seen those about 2-3 months ago.
