turn Bally em hopper wheel from nickels to quarters.

Hi everyone, I'm new to nlg. I'm a long time slot enthusiast and collector. I'm trying to turn a hopper wheel down so that quarters can sit on the coin shelf. I was told that the coin shelf can be turned like a brake rotor to convert from nickels to quarters. So I removed the hopper wheel and took it to the auto parts store to put on the rotor turner, but they said that the hole is two small for the shank on the machine. The hole is about 1/4" and the shank is like 1". Does anyone know how this can be done. I was also wondering if any one has reel glass for a 742a with a tic tac toe pay table, reel glass for a 742a with a 11 pay for the oranges and 13 pay for the plums. I'm also looking for a plastic topper for a 742a with bars watermelons, and 8 balls (the 8 balls pay in any position. Also what would cause the hopper not to reset and winner paid light to stay on?

Glad you joined us here! If you can post your questions separately on the Bally Reel Machines and Classifieds topic, you will get your answers. We have a pretty knowledgable group of members here for EMs.

I don't know what it cost to turn the hopper shelf, but can't you buy a replacement pretty cheap? And just change the shelf and coin knife?

On the glass you need, if you have pics, that would help enormously. EM glass is a bear to find, well, I guess I should say it's a bear to find the RIGHT one!

For the topper, check my website. I have a few on there, but again, finding the right one can be challenging!

I think the hopper not resetting issue has been discussed on here previously. Try searching "hopper reset", "winner paid light", and "winner paid on".
