S2000 EEprom Error.

Help!
I have a S2000 Triple Lucky 7s machine that i got with a broken board.( holder for sb chip) I purchased a used working board and installed it. Then when i tried to clear the machine only the second amber light would light. With the sb chip reinstalled the game would go as far as waiting netplex then it went to eeprom error. I tried clearing it and it would cycle back to netplex then eeprom error. (eeprom device error _0x4)
I purchased a working mother board with a working eeprom and installed it today. Still can't get both amber lights to light with the clear chip.(only second light)
Now when i start the machine i get
Game E prom crc mismatch OXB000001
Non recoverable data error
Critical data will be lost
hold test switch
close door
Machine runs start up tests (never gets to the point that the reels spin)
EEprom error. (Alarm Sounds)

I'm at a loss as to what to try next.

I've had to go through the errors 2-3 times. Just flick through them with the jackpot key and let it initialize a couple more times.

Game eprom CRC mismatch denotes bad GME chips.  Are you sure they are in the right order, with the correct correct orientation?  Make sure all the legs from both eproms are inserted properly into the sockets.  Sometimes they bend under it or go outside of the socket.

It's also part of a standard reset after a board change. Open door, turn jackpot reset key 3 times, press and hold reset button on MPU, close the door, repeat as necessary...

Hi
I went thru the codes 5 times and still have the same problem
I checked all the chips and they are seated correctly and in the right way.
After power up i can get to the point where it has me hold the reset button after that it goes to netplex check then i get eeprom error.

Update
Much thanks to Ron talking me thru this. I ended up pulling the board out of my 5 reel and swapped the sb chip and the machine worked. Time for another board.
