S 2000 Sound issue

Hi, I have a S2000 triple Strike 9 line 45 credit using an enhanced cpu. I am not getting any sound out of my buttons, Play- Lines, Play- Credits. All the other sounds work , Rollup and spin sounds. I switched out both IO cards on the door, even switched cpu, still no sound when I touch a bet button. Any Ideas? :EmoticonHelp4:

Was it working and quit or did you get it this way?
Does your machine use a legacy adapter with sound simm or does it have an R board with imbedded sound?

It was working before. It is a R board.   I also switched out the sound amp board, still nothing.

I just got it working. I had to put a 42 sound card in it, don't understand why, cause it worked before without it. It wont let me change sounds though, only one reel spin sound. I noticed that on the sound card there are 4 dip switches, any idea what they  do if moved.

The dip switches tell the machine what type of memory simm it is.  It does not change whatever sounds come out of the machine.  They should all be in the off position for a sound simm.
