Looking for a 5V-12V power supply for a Bally S9000

I'm in need of a 5V-12V power supply for my Bally S9000 Double Dragon machine.. Machine cycles off/on, off/on.. Can these be repaired? It looks like cap C41 is swelled up.

im in need of these also...


have 4 machines missing both power supplys..


im sure the cap can be replaced on them.


just have to buy the right cap and replace it.

I re-cap these all the time, fixes 90% of them.  Cheap easy fix.

Certain caps or all? The one I see swelled up is a 10V 1000uf  #C41.. Farthest from the fans right under the plug.

I wish to buy both power supplies. The 5v/12v and the 24v.   Bally S9000. I can also send you my (cores) originals afterwards, if you wish.  I am not able to switch out capacitors at this time. My fuse above the power rocker switches is not blown.

There are 2 versions of the 5/12v power supply.  Post the AMPs used on the 5v and 12v rails.

Rick,
Thank you for posting that info. I lucked out and both power supplies I purchased are now installed and working. Wasn’t sure what “AMPs” was, so I got lucky.


Also, the power supplies I removed. Are they any value to anyone? I’d prefer to offer them to someone who’d repair/reuse them vs me just trashing them.


The site is a great help. I just re contributed so I can now post pics again!

Photos are too small to read the rated current output for each volt rail.  Every single one of the 5/12v and 24v supplies out of the alphas I have worked over the years  have been fixed with various cap replacements.
