Bally 5000 plus battery change

Battery on my Bally 5000 plus was missing when I got it. went to my local battery shop got this one installed for $12 including the battery, left machine on for 3 days . Turned it off last night ,back on this morning . Seems to be working great . anything I should be concerned about . I know the old one had a 110mah rating and the new one is a 750mah but everything I have read says it will not hurt the devise with a higher mah,it will just hold a longer charge time. I actually have the battery attached with Velcro under the cage where the board goes, only put it on top for pic.  Thanks Jim

Looks good to me. You are right, the higher mah rating just means the battery will last longer as it contains more energy. Similar to replacing a car battery, the old one may have a 450 CCA rating, the new one could have a 650 CCA rating. Both are 12 volt batteries, but the higher CCA means it is a stronger battery.

The battery in the slot machine is to preserve the settings and financial data in case power is turned off. In a casino environment the machines are seldom turned off, so they could use a minimal rated battery and it would work ok. Plus the machines are often rotated off the floor before the battery has died.

I have 3 machines in my living room,I turn them on everyday for about 8hrs so I think I will be good for keeping the battery charged ..
