Multi-Denom Selection problem

On my IGT Multi-Denom keypad, when I select #1 (lower left pad) I get a beep tone and the VFD displays 50c.   The pads #2 (upper left) and #3 (upper right) work the same way. #4 (lower right) has no effect and no beep.  The machine is set for 50c for #1 and #2 and $1.00 for #3 and #4.
Do I have a bad keypads OR do I need to look at what the multi-demon pads are set to.  Where can I find the info ( like which option umber(s))

In the operation menu, you can see the current Denomination configurations...


Go to [7 key chip configure] and then 7.1.1.3 (player Denomination)

I did a button test on the multi-denom pad.  Button 1,2,and 3 go from 0 to 1 when pushed.  Button 4 reads 0 and does not change when pushed. 
Is my pad defective or do i have to check the multi-denom parameters (7.1.1.3)  to see if button 4 is assigned?   If so what do I look for.

Doc,

First, I would verify that settings are programmed under 7.1.1.3 and the pad assignments under 7.1.1.4 . If you have denominations programmed for each of the buttons, and the assignments are enabled, then you may want to try adjusting the panel slightly. However, I have found that this can create more problems if your not cautious. The removal of the board sometimes does not want to re-seat very well due to the adhesive on the back of the denom sticker. My suggestion is to have some spare of those around (if you don't already).

On my machine, my "button #2" will only activate if I use my thumb. A simple finger touch doesn't seem to work.

If you have verified all of the settings, the next thing I would consider replacing the touch panel.

Checking 7.1.1.3 and 7.1.1.4 shows key # 1 50c, K #2 $1.00 and keys 3 and 4 disabled.  Still nod sure if keypad is bad or not because key #3  still gives beep tone and selects 50c.  how can i check further.

When you press key #3 or key #4, does the denomination change? To go much further, you will need a key chip to access those menu items to see if enabling them makes any difference in your scenario.

Keys 1,2 and 3 change the values (1 and 2 are 50c, 3 is $1.00) $ does nothing.

I would consider swapping out the touch-pad, but you will still need a KEY chip to reprogram if that is your ultimate goal.
