Replacing the trim behind the bowl. Some idiot ground the trim.

Finally, the fuses are sorted out.

One was missing the cap, the 110V was missing the spring, it was a mess. I also cleaned up the exterior, filling in the gaps. I still need to clean up where I re-glued the cabinet.

The National cam lock came in today. It's for the win override switch. National cam locks is what Bally used on all of the EM machines.

Going over the reel tapes, index reels I have this:

m-220: 758, 1249, 760
P-484: 642, 1007, 644

My issue is with #3 I've checked out the tape symbols M-220-760 and the index depths p-484-644 and they don't match up.

the "orange", "plum", "cherry" stuff in the right column on your paper isn't right ... where'd that come from? I'm guessing reel 1? The slot depths assigned to symbols aren't necessarily the same on each reel.

if you ignore the 4th column and just look at the numbers in the third column, you're ok.

for example, position 1 on the tape is a PL and has a slot depth of 2. Since this isn't a multi-line game and doesn't have scatter pay or other fancy pays, every PL will index into a depth 2 slot. i.e. every PL puts the reel wipers at position 2 on the wiper board.

your paper says this for the symbols and corresponding slot depth/wiper positions:

OR = 1
PL = 2
BE = 3
1/BA = 4
2/BA = 5
3/BA = 6

that's what the bally docs say also. Below is the reel board wiring diagram ... note the position numbers (= slot depths) and the symbols at those positions on each reel.

bally coulda left the reel 3 symbol->position mapping the same on all three reels and reel 3 wouldn't have any depth 1 slots. They did that sometimes. It woulda made more sense for consistency between reels and reuse of the index disc in a game with cherries on reel 3, but they didn't do that in this game.
